TRIP: ONE.

TRIP - ONE.
PHASE: TRAVEL.
DATE: 17 June 2015.
Destination-one: Bengaluru.
Travelling from: Mumbai.

The flight timing was 6:10am, didn't sleep much, busy packing and planning the trip destinations. The night was longer than usual. Sleep struck at 2 in the night and had to wake up at 3am and leave by 4! definitely not enough sleep.

Time:11am.
I reach my destination, Bengaluru. Unpacked at my cousins’. It seemed like he’d be joining me on the journey through the west coast of southern India.I hadn’t planned much for the day, just went out and bought some essentials required for the southern odyssey.

DATE: 18 June 2015.
Destination-two: Mysore.
Travelling from: Bengaluru.
Time: 5am.

Beep Beep Beep... the alarm continued to ring as I slept through it. My brother came to me, roused me awake, and cursed, saying,"Wake up!!! We're already an hour late, you dumbfuck!!!" My morning began an hour late than it was meant to and with these beautifully sworn words of literature. We were, as you must’ve gathered, supposed to wake up at 4 and leave for Mysore but sleep got the better of us all. We rushed through our morning routine and rushed to the car under the hour.It took us 3 hour to reach Mysore, the city of royalty. No word can describe the supremacy the town emanated with its awe striking architecture. First, we visited the zoo.It didn't feel like India at all, the animals there, it felt like I was in a savannah! The birds there were insanely mesmerising!

DAY: SAME DAY.
Time: 2pm.

We had a simple and delicious vegetarian meal for lunch from a small uduppi restaurant in the streets of Mysore, the whole lunch costing the 4 of us around Rs.300, less than Rs.100 per person!!! Astounding. Now we headed to the place that signified ROYAL in all it’s glory, the MYSORE PALACE. That was one palace that seemed like it was built for an immortal age.Mysore Palace. The place smelt of gold and all the richs that you could fathom! Sadly no photography is allowed inside the palace, I suppose they wanted us to remember the palace forever, imprinted in just our memories. As I will.
